Telus and Bell Canada planning on LTE for the future Mobile Burn Sat, 11 Oct 2008 9:51 AM PDT In yet another blow for the CDMA world, Canada's two major CDMA carriers, Bell Canada and Telus, have announced plans to co-develop a UMTS/HSPA 3G network in preparation for an eventual move to LTE for 4G. Rogers Wireless, Canada's other top 3 carrier, already is working on its 3G UMTS/HSPA network in preparation for LTE.
